Alexandra Daddario SourceJust another WordPress site

Over in Winnipeg, Canada, filming is expected to begin later this month on the psychological thriller Nomis, both written and being directed by David Raymond. Ahead of production, Deadline reports today Alexandra Daddario (Texas Chainsaw 3D, Baywatch), Henry Cavill (Batman v. Superman), and Ben Kingsley (too much good stuff to name) have joined the cast.

The story follows an American police force who trap an online predator, only to realize the depth of his crimes goes far beyond anything they had anticipated.

Raymond will produce alongside Fortitude International’s Robert Ogden Barnum, Arise Pictures’ Chris Pettit and Buffalo Gals’ Jeff Beesley. Rick Dugdale will also produce while Fortitudes’ Nadine De Barros will serve as exec producer. Fortitude is introducing the film at EFM this weekend.

‘Baked in Brooklyn’ stills

Hello. I added some stills from the upcoming movie ‘Baked in Brooklyn‘. Enjoy!

Alexandra Daddario and Taissa Farmiga are joining Sebastian Stan in We Have Always Lived in the Castle, an adaptation of the 1962 story by Shirley Jackson.

Michael Douglas is producing the creepy thriller with Jared Goldman, Robert Mitas and Robert Halmi Jr., while Stacie Passon is in the director’s seat.

Based on the book by Jackson, a 20th century horror writer best known for her novel The Haunting of Hill House, the pic focuses on an isolated family, which has already lost four members to poisoning, that uses rituals and talismans to keep itself away from hostile townspeople. Into this scenario arrives a distant cousin, intent on maliciously securing the family’s fortune and whose arrival sets in motion the uncovering of family secrets.

Daddario and Farmiga are playing agoraphobic sisters who become divided by the cousin’s arrival. Passon wrote the adaptation with Mark Kruger.

Daddario is building on the breakthrough she had last year when she appeared opposite Dwayne Johnson in San Andreas and has since completed three films. She reteams with Johnson for Baywatch, which swims to theaters May 19, 2017; stars opposite Adam Devine in the romcom When We First Met; and appears in the William H. Macy-directed comedy The Layover.

Farmiga was one of the stars of FX’s American Horror Story: Murder House and American Horror Story: Coven and appeared in the horror comedy Final Girls.
